SDplay: a browser game with controls within reach
SDplay is an independent browser-game catalog with the TouchPad touchscreen controller. The collection includes Simpsons, Prince of Persia, DOOM, Diablo, Quake, Halo, Half-Life and other ports with different launch requirements.
What SDplay provides
SDplay brings together a launch page, configurable touch controls, favorites, recent launches, and the option to add the site to your home screen. TouchPad is part of the project: its sticks and buttons send keyboard input to a supported game.
Game files and game behavior depend on the third-party port. SDplay is not the developer of The Simpsons: Hit & Run and is not affiliated with game publishers. The SDplay interface and the source game page are separate projects.
Understanding compatibility information
Launch information describes a specific observation. For Simpsons, a user reported that the source port launched on one Android device. This does not mean every phone, iPhone, steering mode, or the newer controller settings have been tested.
The game guide distinguishes requirements, main controls, and the current offline status. The practice arena tests the controller itself; working buttons there do not replace testing the selected game.
Voluntary support
SDplay is free to use, and you can continue launching without payment. Donations through Boosty support development of SDplay's interface and controller, rather than the developers of the original game.
Support is voluntary. Boosty may require you to sign in; SDplay does not check payment to permit gameplay.
Settings and lists on this device
Your preferred language, TouchPad settings, favorites, and recent launches are stored in the current browser when storage is available. This lets you return to your settings without an SDplay account.
These lists are separate from game saves and do not synchronize your playthrough between devices. Clearing site data can remove local settings and lists.
Statistics, advertising, and privacy choices
SDplay's own counters count page openings and launch attempts, grouped by country and interface language. They do not store IP addresses or visitor identifiers. A launch attempt does not reveal what happened in the game.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable these counter requests. The homepage advertising block also checks these signals and does not load when they are present. If a signal changes after the ad has loaded, the page may reload to stop its execution.
Adsterra and its advertising partners process data under their own policy, including cookies, IP addresses, browser and device information, and advertising identifiers. This is separate processing; the description of SDplay's own counters does not cover it.
